IDS utilizes the latest environmental equipment for the most advanced inspection, testing, detection and analysis of contaminants in indoor air environments.
We offer a wide variety of investigative services, ranging from infrared investigations to microbial sampling. Findings are analyzed and documented with confidential, comprehensive reporting techniques. IDS offers the following: Infrared Thermography, Delmhorst Moisture Meter, Bio Reveal Microbial Detection SystemSure II, and Microbial sampling. IDS provides an accurate scope of work, timeline and budget to decontaminate facilities. The D-CON System® is the most efficient and effective decontamination process in the industry. with confidential, comprehensive reporting techniques.
Infrared Thermography is the only proven, non-destructive and complete method for identifying and troubleshooting moisture problems and energy loss. Infrared investigations pinpoint moisture intrusion, moisture retention, missing, damaged or wet insulation, leaking air ducts and water piping, all of which can lead to mold infestation. Infrared can also identify insect infestations and electrical problems that are not visible to the naked eye.
A Delmhorst Moisture Meter is also used to confirm the building materials’ moisture measurements.
Bio Reveal Microbial Detection SystemSure II provides quantitative measurements of mold and bacteria in 15 seconds by detecting the presence adenosine triphosphate (ATP), a molecule found in all living things. This process is also performed during the decontamination process as a quality control measure.
Microbial sampling is most commonly used at the end of the decontamination process to document successful completion of decontamination. IDS performs air sampling, swabs, or tape lifts, as dictated by protocol requirements, that are analyzed by an independent laboratory. IDS also recommends that all customers obtain their own clearance tests at the conclusion of a decontamination project.
