Mold Remediation

Through patented technology developed for the United States Department of Energy by Sandia National Laboratories (SNL), a unique decontamination formulation was developed to effectively neutralize chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction including Anthrax spores. During testing it was discovered that this formulation was effective in destroying molds and their spores, and chemically neutralizing the extremely harmful toxic by-products of mold growth known as mycotoxins.  Utilizing advanced proprietary chemical compounding, IDS has optimized formulations for commercial application of the technology developed by SNL.

The IDS decontamination formulations are surfactant based systems that solubilize sparingly soluble agents and increase rates of reaction with nucleophilic reagents and oxidizers. The formulations include water soluble polymers to enhance the physical ability of the products. Independent lab tests have shown effective decontamination of chemical and biological agents, mold, mold spores and mycotoxins on contaminated surfaces and in enclosed structures.  Testing has shown efficacy against a wide range of molds including Stachybotrys chartum.
